    The stripped down model costs 2 gs. The top of the line one starts at 5. :lol:

    Mine was about 2.2 after all of the extra stuff I tacked onto it. It works pretty well, but I think I'll probably go for a dedicated gaming rig for my next computer if I ever have the money.

    Trying to customize an HP is a bit like trying to turn a Honda Civic into a race car. ROFL

    I absolutely agree with regard to Windows 8, BTW. I won't upgrade beyond Windows 7 if I can help it.

    I've actually got a Pavilion myself. It's a crazy souped up version that I got custom made from the manufacturer though. :lol:

    Oops! I always do that, and I was doing so well too. This is the first time I've done that since I've been here I think! :lol:

    It's an HP Pavilion. Windows 8 takes some getting used to. Good Lord! Lol!

    Work and more work. I got a new laptop finally though. I got it at Best Buy yesterday. It was on sale. :) YES!!! Lol!

    Got a presentation due next week that I've been working on.

    I also played in a local ping-pong tournament this afternoon with some friends of mine. That was fun (even though I'm not very good at it :lol: ).

    I hear you on the small forums. On the one hand, it can be kind of nice to have a decent little community of people you know reasonably well. On the other, that can get stale real quick if people start losing enthusiasm for it.

    With any luck, this place will strike a nice balance. :)
