It is unusual for multiple accounts under one IP address NOT to be a duplicate account. I would recommend that one of you register from a different IP address, whether from a mobile device or on a different network. That will prevent the appearance of multiple accounts to the staff. Once that account has been created from a different IP, that person should be able to participate without any further issues. Hope that helps.
