  • As long as there is food, or pets, they will keep coming. And eventually there will be more. Best to keep your pets inside, and try to scare them away when they come (bright lights, loud noises). But they will keep coming if they think there is food until one or two don't come back to the pack, for whatever reason. They are smart animals, and never alone. If you kill one, or trap it, the others will stay away too. Can't imagine trying to transport a trapped coyote. Would you allow a hunter to shoot them for you? If so, just ask around town. Most hunters LOVE hunting coyote. One of the hardest animals to hunt.
lol i would have gotten this reply if you hadnt posted it to yourself sillie....

We don't generally spend a lot of time in Elizabethton when we're there. Its "base camp" and we wind up leaving EARLY in the mornings (well before sunrise), fishing all day, then back to E-ton for a meal and the cabin to relax and tie flies for the next day's journeys. I may retire that way (wife is from North Georgia, so I know Western NC like the back of my hand), but my business is here, and its still growing, so I'm tied for a while (which is fine too, because I love where we are).

We camp occasionally too, generally at Wilson Creek, but usually when we are going really deep into the mountains to hit a particular stretch of water.
so why not move over to western nc? we got creeks and rivers....excellent fly fishing....and we got this...i dont know if they have a website....little campground by the creek...elizabethon is like vacationing in a city
