Please explain where this analysis is wrong? He's right about the original agreements. He's right about the difference between preferred and common stock.

If the intent was to nationalize banks, it would have been done already. It's a much easier solution.

Care I agree, Care, but until then, this issue will be the source of much divisive debate. This isn't going to go away anytime soon. Not until all the facts are out and certain people are tried and convicted - or acquitted.
At least tried before a jury, be forced to defend against solid verified evidence-based accusations.
We'd like to see that.
Think of the ratings.
Better than OJ's trial.
Now if we can only get a slow speed chase in a white Bronco.....

Now our "leaders" have known about this stuff for years, hell we all knew about it too. So why bring all this fanfare, controversy and speculation of prosecution to the forefront?
All this torture crap is a misdirection, a distraction from something that the Obama administration doesn't want us paying attention to. how much do you want to bet that the administration is trying to slip something by us? they want the focus to stay on bush / cheney as the bad guys.....as long as there is a bad guy they are the good guys.....
about the time the public was starting to turn on obama and co for: spending money...sending toops to afgainstan and doing stupid stuff like bowing to a king....
boom out come the memos and the media circus and everyone goes oh ya look how bad bush is.....
watch wag the dog......
