| reichsfuhrer jerry brown in the news California Gov. Jerry Brown is vetoing legislation requiring police to obtain a court warrant to search the mobile phones of suspects at the time of any arrest. The Sunday veto means that when police arrest anybody in the Golden State, they may search that person’s mobile phone — which in the digital age likely means the contents of persons’ e-mail, call records, text messages, photos, banking activity, cloud-storage services, and even where the phone has traveled. | They should have plenty of votes to override the veto. It passed almost unanimously.

Jefferson said that the people should be left to manage their own affairs. His opposition will bear careful analysis, and the country could stand a good deal more of its applications. The trouble with us is we talk about Jefferson, but we do not follow him. In this theory that the people should manage their government, and not be managed by it, he was everlastingly right.” – Calvin Coolidge. |

| Oh California. What happened? They've become a fallen giant for sure. Their glory days are definitely over for good. Brown also banned tanning for some Californians this week. That move is likely going to cause quite a few small businesses to fold. More unemployed. Just what California needs. I keep telling people that Socialists/Progressives do not care about freedom & liberty or the Constitution. This is just more proof. Brown is already a disaster out there. Unfortunately things are going to get even worse for Californians. It's very sad. |

| Quote: Under California statehouse rules, neither Leno nor any other lawmaker may introduce the legislation for at least a year.

John Doe Investigation Over - www.nbc26.com John Doe Investigation Over Quote: The John Doe investigation into former aides of Governor Scott Walker is over. The Milwaukee County District Attorney says the governor will not face any charges. But the three year investigation did lead to charges against six people. Governor Walker has been vindicated. Something he has been saying from the very beginning. A dark cloud hanging over his head is now gone. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :mm : |

| They can't override the veto because the session is over, and they cannot bring it up again for at least a year from today, which means 2 years.
