let me ask a general question; how comfortable do you think the DOJ would be with 2 guys dressed in para military garb, one with a baton, with aryan brotherhood patches affixed to their jackets in front of a polling place?

how comfortable would you be? is this something we want to encourage?
I think the aryan brotherhood guys should be told to leave the premise....just like the black panthers were.

When told to leave....the black panthers left without incident
and?
and....

Why are we still whining about it 18 months later?

because it appears that a judgment was basically left to wither on the vine and the case dropped, and that appears inconsistent with what we created and why; a civil rights committee, bureaus, laws etc. to do and follow through on.

so 18 months is your benchmark or tolerance level for issues before they become whine factors? Okay thats cool, I'll keep that in mind. Thx for the heads up.

Let some Tea Party fool get caught anywhere near a polling place in November and watch these same silly assholes screaming about voter intimidation. Guarantee that.

Do you have legal precedent showing where similar cases were handled differently?

What sentences did they receive?

Does anyone remember when GOP "poll watchers" took video cameras to polling places to document voter fraud? The dems went nuts screaming about racism and voter intimidation, AND THAT WAS WITH VIDEO CAMERAS!!!

They receieved no sentences even though they lost the case. Then four days later it was dropped. That's the big story. That didn't happen 18 months ago; that was May. Adams is testifying before the Civil Rights Commission tomorrow. That's why he quit his job. The DOJ told him and others to ignore the DOJ subpoena.

J. Christian Adams has an excellent piece on PJM.

This aggressive one-way approach toward the civil rights laws is central to understanding why the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party was dismissed by the Obama Justice Department. To some, the civil rights laws are not meant to protect all Americans, they are meant to protect certain Americans. Naturally the universal protections that apply to all Americans in the 14th and 15th Amendments are no barrier to one-way enforcement when you control the mechanics of the federal bureaucracy. After all, few will ever know about the civil rights cases this administration refuses to bring. A perk of being in charge is deciding what is the best use of government resources, and what is the best exercise of prosecutorial discretion.

Americans have the right to know, however, whether or not this administration harbors hostility towards a race-neutral enforcement of the civil rights laws. The firsthand experience of many within the Justice Department leaves no doubt about this insidious attitude.

Some activists may claim this is much ado about nothing. This view is shortsighted: it is hard to imagine what would erode support for the civil rights laws more than the idea that many of us aren’t protected. Equal enforcement of the law vests all of us in the mission of equality. Protecting everyone seems a small price to pay for civil rights organizations to preserve the popularity of their agenda. Failing to protect everyone only fuels hostility to their agenda.

Refusing to enforce the law in a race-neutral manner is a curable malaise. The Department of Justice can still redeem itself — it might start by refiling the lawsuit against the dismissed defendants in the New Black Panther Party case. It ought to abandon its advocacy of race-based preferences in future cases. And it should be willing to diligently pursue investigations and cases no matter the race of the victim or the perpetrator, especially in voting rights cases.

If they don’t, Americans have the right to know and judge this administration’s neglect of our civil rights.

Pajamas Media PJM Exclusive: Unequal Law Enforcement Reigns at Obama’s DOJ (UPDATED: Adams Discusses this Article on Fox News)

The Obama Administration has a clear agenda of "revenge against whites" when it comes to Civil and Voting Rights enforcement. This is the biggest constitutional threat (among many contenders) being perpetrated by The One and his Thugs.

For particulars please refer to the affidavit I posted....it might be useful.

if I may....I suspect the judge who adjudicated the judgment might have a good idea RW. Also note; this was a civil case NOT a criminal one.

In California it is 6 months. To date I can find no case where anyone was so insensitive or stupid as to break the law in that manner however.

As trajan noted, this is a civil case; not a criminal one. However I did find this:

Quote:
Pennsylvania Expandable Baton Laws

§ 908. Prohibited offensive weapons. (a) Offense defined.--A person commits a misdemeanor of the first degree if, except as authorized by law, he makes repairs, sells, or otherwise deals in, uses, or possesses any offensive weapon. (b) Exceptions.-- (1) It is a defense under this section for the defendant to prove by a preponderance of evidence that he possessed or dealt with the weapon solely as a curio or in a dramatic performance, or that, with the exception of a bomb, grenade or incendiary device, he complied with the National Firearms Act (26 U.S.C. § 5801 et seq.), or that he possessed it briefly in consequence of having found it or taken it from an aggressor, or under circumstances similarly negativing any intent or likelihood that the weapon would be used unlawfully. (2) This section does not apply to police forensic firearms experts or police forensic firearms laboratories. Also exempt from this section are forensic firearms experts or forensic firearms laboratories operating in the ordinary course of business and engaged in lawful operation who notify in writing, on an annual basis, the chief or head of any police force or police department of a city, and, elsewhere, the sheriff of a county in which they are located, of the possession, type and use of offensive weapons. (3) This section shall not apply to any person who makes, repairs, sells or otherwise deals in, uses or possesses any firearm for purposes not prohibited by the laws of this Commonwealth. (c) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this subsection: "Firearm." Any weapon which is designed to or may readily be converted to expel any projectile by the action of an explosive or the frame or receiver of any such weapon. "Offensive weapons." Any bomb, grenade, machine gun, sawed- off shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches, firearm specially made or specially adapted for concealment or silent discharge, any blackjack, sandbag, metal knuckles, dagger, knife, razor or cutting instrument, the blade of which is exposed in an automatic way by switch, push-button, spring mechanism, or otherwise, any stun gun, stun baton, taser or other electronic or electric weapon or other implement for the infliction of serious bodily injury which serves no common lawful purpose.
http://law.onecle.com/pennsylvania/c...9.008.000.html

He could have been arrested for carrying a "prohibitive weapon" however I believe most police only enforce that if it is used.

So,

You're blind as well as deaf?
You are welcome to post a video showing them intimidating voters. I will be glad to watch it and comment on it. The video that was posted did not show them intimidating anyone. They were polite to the shock reporter and answered his questions.

The guy with the night stick was out of line and was rightfully told to leave the area
Howzabout a couple of thugs dressed in the classic KKK garb in front of polling places with a stick or sticks in their hands.....and, even if they did leave when asked....

First, how long would they remain there without being VIOLENTLY bounced outa there by righteous bros ?

Second, one wonders if the Lib Controlled National Media would devote the same amount of attention to that ?

Third, would that hapless Protector of Muslim PC and Black Racist DOJ Holder spew out the same kind of BULL**** that he and his Justice Dept are doing now ?

And, would Obamarrhoidal phonies like BogusWanger come up with the SAME stream of lame rhetoric .....their protestations to the contrary notwithstanding ?
