I have heard a lot of rumors about this tape.

In this day and age rumors should even happen. It should all be out there on the open on Youtube, etc.

Why is the LA Times refusing to release these tapes?

Oh, my eyes are "sleepy".

Years before Obama decided to run for president, he supposedly went to a "dinner" party. William Ayers may or may not have been there. Rev. Wright may or may not have been there. Stalin might have been there and it may or may not have been chaired by Chairman Mao.

If only the "secret" tapes were released, we would know. Besides, we know that those tapes also show how the WTC was blown up from inside. It tells how many killed Kennedy and showed what really happened at the Pentagon.

Why are they "burying" it?

Because the source requested that it be not released. That's how journalistic ethics work - you don't burn your sources if you ever want them to be your source again.
