"I know," says the old guy. "But let me tell you about my weekend . . . "

Moral: Not every old person is senile.

Golly, I must have missed that quote in the linked article. And BTW - a restaurant/culinary site is now authority for political quotations?

Oh, wait a minute - I found it. It isn't in the article itself but, rather, appears over the name of "Bill," who ascribes the quote to Gov. Lamm (no link, of course) in his reply to the article - along with ten other folks who also replied.

Oh, wait a minute - I found it. It isn't in the article itself but, rather, appears over the name of "Bill," who ascribes the quote to Gov. Lamm (no link, of course) in his reply to the article - along with ten other folks who also replied.

I get it now. No problem.
If the congress passed a bill about the links of articles we could use, but didn't inlude restaurant.culinary sites, then we could have a constitutional question regarding the Executive Branch's power to enforce laws that we then might be able to follow. But then, if it was a Judicial Question, how would we answer it? We could only depend on other constitutional articles that had been passed in the distant past when it was not a question.

I never bother to watch that YouTube bullshit posted by twerps. But I can answer your question as to why we listen to old people. It's because our society isn't as "complex" and "modern" as asshat adolescents want to believe it is, and old people understand something deeper and more meaningful: human nature. That never changes.
