Springsteen -- Meadowlands

I was trying to decide what to post since I've now hit 10,000 posts. I could have used it to argue politics... I could have used it to just argue... I decided to celebrate it by talking about something I love...

I went to the meadowlands tonight and saw Springsteen. It was my 59th show and I wish I had gone last night, too...

For anyone who's interested, the setlist:

The show was over 3 hours and the setlist was unbelievable....

1. Out In The Streets
2. Radio Nowhere
3. No Surrender
4. Two Hearts
5. Promised Land
6. Hungry Heart
7. Summertime Blues (By Request)
8. Tunnel of Love (By Request)
9. Held Up Without A Gun (By Request)
10. Saint In The City (By Request)
11. Sheri Darling (By Request)
12. Waiting On A Sunny Day
13. Because The Night (By Request) (Nils did one of the best guitar solos ever)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTP2j...eature=related
14. She's The One
15. Living In The Future
16. Mary's Place
17. Drive All Night (By Request) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtopK...eature=related
18. The Rising (this was his only misstep all night. It was a good song. but Drive All Night should have been followed up with something on the same emotional plane).
19. Last To Die
20. Long Walk Home
21. Badlands
22. Girls In Their Summer Clothes
23. THUNDER ROAD!!!! (one of the most amazing versions I've heard... truly brilliant)
24. Detroit Medly (By Request)
25. Born To Run (with Max's son, Danny, on drums)
26. Glory Days
27. Americal Land
28. Twist and Shout

And for anyone who might enjoy, from last night's show:

Great Music!

I still like this one with the two of them. YouTube - Roy Orbison and Friends - Oh Pretty Woman

Grats, on the 10,000 mark achievement!

Not even close... I didn't start til 1985. The guy I sat next to last night had been to 76 shows. One of the men I know from work has been to more than 150. One of my online buds has probably been to about 180.

I was only part kidding about being a neophyte!

Congrats on the post...i've been to one Springsteen concert. However, he has only been to NZ once! If he had been more, I'd have gone more...

Great set list...
