i saw him in 97 on the G3 tour. i didn't even know he was playing anything i just thought he was messing around till the nut next to told me that that fripp had played a great set. with king crimson he may be good but solo eh

Correct, his solo shows are totally technology driven snoozefests. And I saw him play solo in '76 and he refused to autograph anything that was not his product purchased at the gig. In other words if people brought LP's from home he would not sign them. Poser!

Great guitarist in his prime however.
