guess we will still continue to pay for a product that didn't meet our initial order specs....lockhead should give us our money back....

Don't hold your breath. Lockheed doesn't give anything back. On the other hand, they are building the Joint Strike Fighter, so maybe they'll do better with that?

well, if it was a private business to private business transaction, you can bet your bottom dollar there would be some money being given back or a law suit to get it....for the breach of contract.

That maybe true? however, there's political motivation at work here as well.
