Rep Power: 166 | | | More of our lies In the vein of several of our more esteemed members I thought I would properly point out ahead of time that since the US Government and Military have provided video coverage and provided their side of events, we should all just assume they are all liars. Rep Power: 43 | | | The fog of war.
Why would anyone assume anything but that in that fog of war, friendly fire happened, gunny?
Shit happens when the bullets are flying.
Aren't we all aware of that?
Wouldn't the Pakistanis be in a better position to know that they took casualties than the people who were firing upon them?
Mistakes happen.

Rep Power: 21 | | | No disagreement with you on this one. Until Pakistan can control the militants running back and forth, this will continue to happen. The military has a huge job in dealing with these strikes. This will continue until there is leadership in Pakistan that gets tough with these guys. Good Thread!

| Yes, I did.
Did you?
The Pakis claimed that the Gorparai post in the Mohmand frontier region on was bombed.
Americans say their bombs fell on the intended targets.
US videos from drones show where four of the reported dozen bombs dropped during that action.
By my count that means that we know that four of the twelve bombs dropped did not hit Paki forces.
What about the other eight?
No video for where those landed?
Apparently not.
Fog of war, Gunny.
Shit happens.

Pakistan airstrike video may be incomplete, Pentagon says
Grainy video footage released by the U.S. military may not provide a complete picture of what happened in an airstrike that Pakistan says killed 11 of its soldiers, the Pentagon conceded Thursday...
But a U.S. Air Force document indicates bombs were dropped on buildings near the border, and Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman conceded there may have been another strike that occurred outside the view of the drone's camera...
