Nothing to see here, move along...

San Diego is out to ruin a company they do not like I see.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080528/...ackwater_fight

First they approve it, then when activists whine and the elction closes in they disapprove it. Then have the balls to complain that the Company took it to Court.

I hope the City has to pay a HUGE ass fine for preventing the Company from doing Business.

Poor poor Blackwater. They might actually have to suffer from their massacre of Iraqi Civilians and ripping off the US government.

Good for San Diego. I wouldn't want these thugs to be training in my backyard either.

I guess you don't want proven success for your military either, dumbshit. As for Massacre, didn't happen, the Iraqi Military even admitted they fired in the last episode. But hey don't let facts get in the way of your little Tirade. Hope your sorry ass never needs protecting cause I would sure as hell tell them what you think of them. Bet you despise the military too like all good left wing Liberal Turds.

Are you lying or just distorting the case as laid out by the accused's military defence lawyers?

Proven success? Blackwater? You've got to be fucking joking me. The only reason Blackwater is a viable company is because they have close ties to the Republicans. Its pathetic that you are supporting such rampant and obvious cases of nepotism.

Didn't happen? What the fuck are you smoking? You think the 17 dead Iraqis with Blackwater bullets in them at Nusoor square were fakes or something?

I bet RGS would be equally outraged if it were an abortion clinic that wasn't allowed to "do business" in backwoods Kentucky.

How Dare They

How dare the city of San Diego stick their nose in Blackwater's private business like this. What a company does outside of their city is its own business. I hope the California Supreme Court will get involved and protect Blackwater's right to keep the city out of its business.

Who would they be fined by? Blackwater has every right to sue them but I'm not sure under what auspices and by whom the city can be fined.

Frankly, I'm not sure what the problem is. I figured it is a political jurisdiction's right to chose whom they do business and what kind of business that will operate. Cities zone and prevent all sorts of businesses from operating, from porn shops to chemical plants, and often the considerations to disallow are political. If a city chooses to ban abortion clinics, is it not in the city's right to do so? I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know, but it seems reasonable to me. I'm not up on municipal laws, so maybe I'm wrong.

On the other hand, it is also reasonable for officials in the federal government to divert business away from the city of San Diego if the ban on Blackwater effects the armed forces.

Perhaps it's more appropriate to stop using a paramilitary force that isn't accountable by courts martial, civilian courts or international court of justice....

Hate to tell ya "sweetie" but none of our forces are subject to Civilian Courts in Iraq or the so called International Court of Justice. And you will find that is true in just about ANY war zone we are fighting in.

Iraq does not like the SOFA, then they can change it. Of course they will still need to make it worth our while to protect them. We broke their country, we need to fix it, but if the ingrates try to exert authority over OUR forces we should and we will, pack up and leave.

Blackwater has neither massacred Iraqi civilians nor ripped off the US government.

That's lame, even for you.

Ingrates? You just said we broke their country. You expect them to be grateful for that?

I hate to break it to your "war-sensitive mind". I bet you'd have a different tune about WWII if you knew we killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in fire-storm bombing. Not to mention the few hundred thousand in the Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings. War is hell Larkinn....if it is proven that Blackwater did this, should they be brought to justice? absolutely, I agree...I don't agree with the random killing of civilians, but before you cast a stone, read a little history. You blame it on our soldiers, but fail to recognize the reasons that our soldiers and private armies are firing in the first place, because there's a load of shithead insurgents that don't want their country to prosper.

All of which has nothing to do with paramilitary forces using civilians for target practice like the blackwater folk did.
