He's off the hook for now, but in reading a few articles, I can't tell what the deal is. A lifer coming forward with a confession like this makes me wonder... he's got nothing to lose and perhaps some cash to gain. I'm also suspicious of the things like "The Innocence Project," which are often politically motivated more than justice-motivated. Whenever big New York law firms get involved in cases in the South, I wanna start screaming.
