Settler rabbi publishes "The complete guide to killing non-Jews"

The ultra-fundamentalist Od Yosef Hai yeshiva in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar is infamous for its involvement in settler violence against Palestinians. Memorably, one of the students fired a homemade “Kassam” rocket at the neighboring village of Burin in June 2008. This morning, Maariv reports that the Yeshiva’s dean has just published on the proscribed dos and don’ts (mainly the former) regarding the killing of gentiles. Here are some choice excerpts.

The timing of the book's publication might also have something to do with the extensive media exposure it received.

Distribution of the books came just over a week after it became known that Ya'acov Teitel, a settler from Shvut Rahel, had been arrested for allegedly murdering two Palestinians and severely wounding a Christian who belongs to a messianic Jewish community in Ariel.

This surah is speaking specifically about times of war, about what happens when a cease-fire ends and the enemy does not desist in taking up arms against the Muslims. Of course you didn't want to include the passage that immediately follows:

My own review of IRS 990 reports shows that CFI gave $22,000 to “Friends of Yitzhar” (page 28, see link below) in the 2005 reporting year. In that same year, the Fund broke out its giving by category (pdf) noting nearly $400,000 for “security programs” (page 30), which would fund the militias and other violent hooligans running rampant in settlements like Yitzhar, Tapuach and elsewhere.

…The next time the White House spokesman condemns the torching of a mosque near Nablus, some reporter ought to ask him why respectable American citizens contribute to the Od Yosef Chai Shechem yeshiva, one of whose leading rabbis wrote the following incendiary words of incitement: “[Civil] Administration inspectors have not dared to enter Yitzhar since the freeze edict. Their experience with Yitzhar, and its heat, are responsible for the fact that every entry into the settlement by hostile elements requires large forces and ends with extensive damage to army and police equipment, even greater damage to Arab persons and property, and a region that continues to burn in every direction for several days” (Rabbi Yosef Elitzur, Hakol Hayehudi, December 4, 2009).

At the same time, U.S. officials could consider how a tax exemption for donors to Friends of Ateret Cohanim and The City of David jibes with official American policy regarding the presence of right-wing Jewish organizations in the heart of Palestinian neighborhoods in Jerusalem’s Holy Basin.

But let's take for granted its true. All countries have wackos: USA (KKK, Nation of Islam, La Raza), Europe (Skins and Radical Islamist) etc. The difference is the Israeli government doesn't condone these accusations and would prosecute this guy if he killed anyone or if anyone killed at his request. However, killing of non-Muslim Infidels is condoned by the Hamas, Hezbollah and many government elements of most Arab/Persian/Muslim countries!
