94% of Iraq's total revenue. Talk about a one-trick pony.

Sounds good, either way, I guess. Pretty soon they're going to have to rain down those surpluses in social programs if they're gonna want to keep the country together in any way, like pretty much the rest of their neighbors.

Wouldn't be surprised if the "timeline" keeps getting shorter and shorter under both Iraqi and American pressure. After all, Chevron and ExxonMobil already got the contracts. They're gonna be making lotsa money too. "Conditions on the ground" have certainly improved since that decision was made, and nobody's complaining about deadlines and withdrawals. Mission Accomplished!

(On a different note: Outraged? Outraged that the Iraqi government is raking in the money from it's resources? God forbid!)
