Further remind me how long it took to get Germany and Japan back to fully functional Governments with their own militaries responsible for self defense in a much safer environment and with a history already established of Democracy?

Yes it is obvious. And yet Obama has promised to withdraw all combat troops within 16 months and Clinton has promised to start withdrawing troops within 60 days. These are "promises they can't keep," unless they are willing to risk "a complete failure of the Iraqi state, massive chaos and even genocide."
