A conversation with author Clare Lockhart - Charlie Rose

It's not bad, actually. Thought it'd be some sort of super-hawk a la Kirkpatrick, but she says some good stuff, good solutions. I like that she advocates national development against just patchwork contractors and US firms to make money off the rebuilding. process. Encourages regional cooperation, Marshall-style development package... She's good, I'll see if I can find out more on the book.

Thanks.

My pleasure--I haven't heard anyone speak to eloquently in awhile and the fact she wasn't pushing crap on me was refreshing. Not sure I agree with it all but she has style.
