I'm making plaster casts of my kids' hands tomorrow morning.

What are you doing?

I bought the cast hand set at a second hand store more than 6 months ago. It had never been opened, enough for two casts!

The kids found it tonight, and I promised we'd do it. What's to fear? A little water, a little plaster, a plastic pan...it will be a hoot and probably take 30 minutes.

Then we're cleaning the house. Figuratively. That means going to thte dump. To da dump to da dump to da dump dump dump...

Being a parent is hard, but it is the grace of these sorts of things that you will remember when you are dying, of that I am sure.

I have casts of my son's hands and feet and when he goes through puberty I am sure he will have the Frogen penis, which means I will have to get a cement mixer.
