2. What nation is the largest producer of soybeans? U.S.? Probably not.

3. Name two retro foods that are named after creatures. ???

4. In the 1950s, a favorite food was a cabbage kabob. What did it include? I'm guessing cabbage is in there somewhere.

5. Aside from taste, what else affects our enjoyment of food? Smell

6. How long have we been eating egg salad? Takes me about five minutes. Ok, a total guess, sometime in the early 1700s.

7. When did Americans start eating TV dinners? The 50s. I think the first came out somewhere around '58.

8. What was one of the earliest most popular TV dinners that is still popular? Probably salisbury steak, but might be meat loaf.

9. When did the first restaurant menu appear in the United States? 1901...?

10. How long have cheeseburgers been around? Also a guess... The 50s. Say, 1955.

Tofu and "gag" are a good pair. Whatever happened to the FAQ? I wanted to select an appropriate smilie.

Agree. Destresses and clears out the mind for serious thinking.

I can honestly say color has little to no bearing on my food decisions. Maybe it's the same reason I don't have a favorite color. Smell, on the other hand, can lead me to try something or run screaming from it.

By the way, what the hell are ants on a log?

Celery, peanut butter, and raisins?

Give it to Mikey. He'll eat anything.
