Hey everyone!

Well , since I applied to a couple of U.S colleges I am anxiously waiting for my admission decisions on the 1st of April. Well , my query is :- Do many colleges send out likely letters to the applicants? I heard Dartmouth does. So does it kind of mean that you are in? And when do they usually send in these letters?

Dartmouth does, but only to really high caliber applicants. I don't know the exact number, but out of an applicant pool of several thousand maybe a couple dozen receive likely letters.

I don't believe any of the other colleges you listed have any likely letter policy.
