The kids don't have a choice but to go to school and endure this indoctrination. Parents don't have a choice but to send them (regardless of whether they voted for or agree with the president's policies or attitudes). The school stepped over the line and there's no excuse for it. Indoctrination?
Show what was indoctrinated into these children?
They are not singing a song about Hitler, they are singing a song about the first black President of the United States
Can anyone complaining about this point to a specific word or phrase in the song that is offensive?

Can anyone complaining about this point to a specific word or phrase in the song that is offensive? Well, first the song suggest that people should be compelled to volunteer to "make this country strong again." This is consistent with Obama's socialist agenda.
Next, the song suggests that, before Obama, there was no such thing as feminism. Okay, maybe that's a stretch, but this is an issue that divides Americans (something the left specializes in). The song is basically accusing employers in America of being sexist or racist in general and positioning Obama as the savior from this sad state of affairs.
Then,
"red, yellow, black or white,
all are equal in his sight"
Or maybe that should have been "all are equal in His sight." The children are being taught that Obama-a sitting president who is still eligible to serve another term-is the paragon of all of these values that no one who is at all representative of any electorate would disagree with.
Yes, it's indoctrination. Man, you've been hitting that kool-aid pretty hard, haven't ya? |

Here is what Obama did. When Obama was born, there were parts of the country where a black man having children with a white woman would lead to a lynching. For a mixed race child to grow up to be President is an accomplishment It speaks well for our country and it speaks well for Obama
"red, yellow, black or white,
all are equal in his sight"
Again teaching children about equality. Like I said above, the very election of Obama was a major step in equality. It does not teach children that other politicians are not colorblind, only that it is an admirable quality.
Obama is eligible for another term.....but I can assure you, these six year olds will not be eligible to vote for him

When children sing about Making this country strong
Or they sing about all races being equal
We will give Bobby Jindall a call and he can provide the republican rebuttal and explain to children that none of this is in accordance with republican teachings

Obama is eligible for another term.....but I can assure you, these six year olds will not be eligible to vote for him Again, you missed the point. These are admirable qualities. We are not banding together to make this country strong because of what Obama wants, people are not equal because of Obama's sight, and women should get equal pay because there is nothing inherent in their identity that is just cause to deny them that. A song about these things in general would have aroused no controversy. That they have been forever associated with this mythical figure Obama in the minds of these children is the issue. They may not be able to vote for him, but they could be employed as a campaign tool for Obama's reelection in an irresponsible school district which I think that this one in NJ has been shown to be. Especially if this transgression passes unchecked. |

Rep Power: 1 | | | Children should be encouraged to make this country strong of course, but the president saying that we must sounds like some sort of edict for forced "volunteerism". To say, in general, that we must join together to make this country strong is leadership. Saying that Barack Hussein Obama said that we must join together and make this country strong assumes that we will, in doing so, abide by what he believes is "strong." |

Its a silly little song for six year olds to sing during Black History month, nobody is proposing it as our new anthem. Key word "He said" .
If you guys are so upset how about we allow republican rebuttal on all childrens songs from now on?
Once again, right wing takes an insignificant story and turn it into the end of civilization as we know it. So far this year we have:
1) Protesting Obama speaking at the Notre Dame graduation
2) Protesting Obama giving a back to school pep talk
3) Protesting children singing about Obama during Black History Month

Think up something for your folks. I'm not a republican and I don't think that the parties are all that different except in their degree of fervor. I fail to see how showing that the progressive left has gone insane with fervor that they are willing to use compulsory education as an avenue for early stage indoctrination. Both parties have consistently and continually disregarded the constitution and annexed the rights and responsibilities of a hapless people for the purpose of political gain. Our country is being flushed away and you guys are jiggling the handle! | | |
