The Bush administration had planned an invasion of Iraq since day one when they stole into office.

Afghanistan was a distratction for them that they were forced into becuase of 9-11. They left it high and dry as soon as they could orchestrate the hate and fear levels against Saddam to get the non-existent WMDs, Mushroom Clouds, Dangerous Drones, etc. and be welcomed as libertarians.

Now we are paying for that neglect.
