What is the PURPOSE of your stupid poll?

ALL of these weapons are SEMI-automatic. That means that you have to pull the trigger EVERY time you want to fire a round. Anybody who can squeeze a trigger five times in one second is a better man than me.

There are MANY different manufacturers who produce various versions of the M-16/AR-15 assault weapon. Bushmaster is just ONE of them.

Go with the AK-47. Half the price of a Bushmaster, and the most rugged assault rifle ever made. It's about the ONLY thing the Russians did right.

Have they even really yet confirmed which guns were used, through a coroner's report? I keep hearing it implied that the AR-15 was the primary weapon. However, they keep adding caveats like: they won't know for sure until the full investigation is done or, that's the preliminary analysis until the coroner makes a final determination, etc., etc., etc. I don't believe I've read yet, or heard anywhere yet, where a final determination as been made as to what primary weapon was used and which weapon it was that inflicted the majority of deaths.

Will the full police report be released on new years?

Well actually, you left one out. You claimed there were four weapons which were brought but you list only three. And, you aren't quite clear on whether you want those weapons which were used (fired) or just which ones he brought with him. And, by all accounts I've read so far, the implication is that he used only two of the guns. The AR-15 for the students which were killed and one of the pistols to kill himself with. So if you want only those which were used, allegedly, it was the AR-15 that he used to shoot the students and one of the pistols to kill himself. If you want all those he brought with him, there were the three you list and a shotgun claimed to have been found in the car.

There are also people saying that it's possible the Bushmaster jammed, because they found unspent ammo for it on the floor in the school, and it was after that the shooter turned a pistol on himself.

I have many friends who have these weapons, and last I checked they were all pretty stable people, so what about these weapons is it that you want to know about them? I have shot them all, and they are cool to shoot. I know I enjoyed it, and guess what, it's been around two years ago since I shot weapons of this caliber. Would do it again anytime, as I am not afraid of these weapons, only if they were in the hands of bad guy's would I be, then I would meet them fire with fire if the government can't seem to keep such guns out of the hands of bad people. Taking them from us is certainly not the answer, but the libs can't seem to understand this sort of issue..

The coroner said all wounds were consistent with .223 rounds. I dont know how he had time to examine all the bodies to find out. Other reports say the Bushmaster was found in his car. Then it was found near him. The Glock was reported to be a model 29, which is a 10mm. This poll shows a 9mm, which is a model 26, 19 or 17.
The reporting on this incident sucks shit. And people want to ban certain items because of it. They might as well ban the make of car he used.

AK-47 is a bad choice. It might be great for shooting other soldiers and maybe even shooting up a movie theater but if you are going to be shooting teachers and students you want something light weight with easy point-n-fire characteristic. A shotgun might be a good choice but those are more to maim than kill. Like I said before you can't go wrong with a good 22. Handguns are definitely a logical choice but children are smaller targets than you might have otherwise have. I have not done my research on this specific subject so I would be open to options.

Now you might ask yourself. WTF. Why? Because let's not shy way from what the weapons are for and what they are only for. Yes, law abiding citizens who aren't going to use them for what they were made for should have whatever they want. But at what price? The price has been that mass killing have been the result. The list of shooters is long and the list of victims is much longer. The lists will grow next year, and the year after that, and the year after that. Until we approach the problem as something we are serious about addressing let's all just go around jocking about how many people we can kill with what weapon. You ask me WTF. I ask you WTF.
