Rep Power: 6 | | | Obama Spokeswoman: He'll Be Ready to "Rule" on Day One Meet The Press Video here

ABC'S CHARLIE GIBSON: In each instance, when the Capital Gains rate was dropped, revenues from the tax increased; the government took in more money. And in the 1980s, when the tax was increased to 28 percent, the revenues went down. So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?
OBAMA: Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness. |

That's down right foolish to say that especially when there has been many, many, many, articles posted about clueless people voting for Obama...
I would say maybe 30% of the people voting for him knew more about him than hope and change... |

Rep Power: 276 | | | I think that the man has been campaigning for long enough that those who voted for him, 52%, have not been baited and switched into anything like you suggest. Rather, I think that you people are having a hard time knowing that you lost the election and are looking for any excuse to take the sting off. Point in case: tis thread focusing on the word "rule" as if Obama is about to form a fucking brown shirt gestapo. |

Obama and Obamabots are sadly mistaken if they think his election in any way indicates an acceptance of lefty policies. Look at the way people voted with regards to issues....see what laws passed and didn't pass during the election. The American people upheld CONSERVATIVE principles, while voting the non-conservative Republicans out of office.
So don't get all gooey inside thinking this is some sort of endorsement for Obama's looney left boobery.

well Shogun, what that 52% means to me is that yes, your side won but 48% of us disagree. and the word "rule" was used by the obama spokesperson. Her choice. She could have chosen govern just as easily but sometimes those little lapses tell us exactly what they are thinking. Remember Maxine Waters "we are going to socialize" errrrr take control of the oil companies.. |

Hey, ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES, right baba? remember that from the 04 election?
I don't really care who you think is sadly mistaken. The FACT remains that Obama won the election and 52% of the electorate said that "the most left leaning liberal ever" should be president of the United States. Conservative issues? You mean like South Dakota failing their abortion ban?
Trust me, baba, won elections ARE an endorsement of Obama's policy. If you don't like it then get your ruby ridge on and see what happens to ya. |

Rep Power: 211 | | | I don't think there's any doubt they think they'll be "ruling" America.
This, in a nutshell, shows the agenda.
