There is nothing wrong with Socialism. There are plenty of socialists in the world that seem to be quite happy. However, Socialism is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution, so if Socialism is ever accepted by the majority of U.S. citizens, the Constitution will have to be replaced.

What Is Wrong With Socialism is it's fundamental economic principle that the means of production be owned by the state! Pure socialism, i.e. it economic philosophy has never worked throughout all of Western history!

... which is why they never used words like "slave" or "slavery" even though it was everywhere around them. They didn't use them because even they knew then that we would not always be slaves, and they allowed for the expansion, growth, and evolution of the Constitution.

Obama is using the same tax plan as Clinton, nobody cried Socialism back then and we had a surplus when he left office. You can call it whatever ism you want but for 8 years under Clinton this economy was doing great.

Nor has pure anything, included democracy .. and speaking of economics, nor has the laissez-fare philosophy of "free market" .. it never worked and doesn't even exist in its "pure" form .. and if you need to know why it doesn't exist, see: "robber barons"

I never said all people who believe in freedom and liberty were against those things. All people who believe in freedom and liberty do not think like you .. I believe in freedom and liberty.

What I said was those who spout "freedom and liberty" as an argument are typically the very same people who were against the things I posted .. simply put .. conservative republicans .. the very same ones who shouted "unamerican" and "freedom and liberty" to anyone who said that the invasion of Iraq was a fraud and a really dumb idea.
