The other topic I thought of is why I won't start a blog.

I've read a few and only a couple have the kind of insight about their lives that interest me. Most of the stuff is dross.

I have no idea what I'm doing here. I haven't tried the blog feature before.

I'm exploring several themes in my life right now. One is challenging institutions.

I was raised in the Catholic Church. That's the main formative experience I had with authority.

A second theme is investigating personal power. Early on, I learned that people in power weren't fair or trustworthy. That set me up to be further anti-authority.

I'm just sketching...
