Look at Walmart for example, some might say their dominance is simply borne out of healthy competition but we know that isn't the case, they destroyed and put out of business a whole bunch of small businesses to get where they're at today. Try telling your "everyone can be rich too" statement to the people that once owned those small businesses. This is the very greed that capitalism perpetuates. It basically says, obtain the American dream by any means necessary, even if it means being corrupt.
Wal Mart putting some small businesses out of the competition was merely a side benefit. It was not their primary goal.

I suppose that within the context of the example ypou presented (WalMart) that no business should be started that will somehow damage or make less competitve any other business. Sounds like a very poor basis to start a business.

Also, why would anyone believe that WalMart just suddenly appeared and all those small businesses just disappeared? Could not any one of those businesses have done what WalMart did before WalMart even existed? The fact is they could have but CHOSE not to. They made a business decision (as did WalMart) and now some folks whine about poor vs smart business decisions. Another example of punishing success and rewarding mediocrity.
