DEA agent runs over woman, I'll bet he wants this case booted up to a more controllable federal judge. He wants to get his ass out of Virginia.

Is the crime a federal or state crime? It’s state. The person being a fed doesn’t give immunity to breaking state laws.

The video is from Oregon ... my mother was strictly prohibited from running stops signs ... ever ... even while in pursuit with sirens and lights flashing ... but that was State LEO ...

It's not "exactly" correct to say Federal Law overrides State Law ... we use the concept of dual sovereignty ... both State and Federal Laws apply all the time ... the workaround is that the Federal Government owns all the dollars ... any activity that involves dollars is regulated by the Federal Government ... and not the State ...

Was this DEA agent on the clock? ... that involves dollars ... Oregon must get Federal approval to pursue this matter in State Court ... as it stands now, the agent will be tried in Federal Court ... {Cite from December 2023}
